Boundless Line: Heartbreak in Australia.
I had heard about the bush fires (that’s “forest fires” for the unitiated) in Australia, I had heard they were bad, but there had never been a story to humanize the situation. This e-mail from an Aussie named Cate to Boundless was gutwrenching…I almost watered up, something that doesn’t happen too often when I read something.
We’re talking about over 100 degree days for days at a time, coupled with really high winds and a devastating drought. One spark, and a whole forest is gone, taking out homes and people with it. I didn’t appreciate how fast it happened, but here it is.
My heart goes out to the Lucky Country…they’re in a really bad spell right now and they need our love and prayers.
