I was snooping around the sports sites this morning when I came across this. Tony Dungy meets Michael Vick one time, but now he’s willing to visit the guy in prison and encourage him.
When Jesus talks about visiting people in prison, I bet this is just about exactly what He intended. This is great because it humanizes and shows compassion for a man who is largely despised in America right now.
Props to Mr. Dungy for living his faith out and not being afraid to talk about it. And did Michael Vick find the Lord in prison? I hope so!
